Oct 12 For more than a quarter century, Fort Steele has hosted these Thanksgiving Celebrations. Guests of this old-time town enjoy many activities at this special time but they can also give back as they harvest potatoes for the local food bank.

TBA The Rocky Mountain Triathlon attracts around 600 athletes of all ages and skill-level annually who come not only to run, bike and swim, but to partake in the fun-filled festivities, which include a carbo-loaded dinner the night before the race. A hot tub and massage clinic are also onsite to help competitors recover from the race. The prizes available to competitors total $4200, and one incredible mystery prize is up for grabs.

TBA Every year in mid June, this four day event celebrates the life and times of Superintendent Sam Steele with activities for the whole family. The weekend starts off with a pancake breakfast, then goes on to feature beach volleyball, a kid's fun zone, strongman competitions, a parade and much more.

TBA The summer season begins with a bash at Fort Steele's Dominion Day Celebrations. On July first guests can come and enjoy wagon rides, theatre events, and take the fist run of the season on the Steam Railway. Other Fort Steele standards include blacksmith, leather shop, gold panning and food services.

TBA This good old fashioned country fair is not to be missed. Make a trip to the Fort Steele Heritage Town and mingle amongst the baked goods, produce, perserves, needlework and other crafts. Start the day off with a pancake breakfast, then check out the scarecrow and decorated bike contests, take-in some live music, and set the kids loose at the petting zoo.
