Cranbrook is a bright and pleasant city located at the southern end of the Columbia Valley. The mountain peaks of the Kootenays form a stunning backdrop. The Canadian Museum of Rail Travel provides a fascinating look into the history of rail travel, and the nearby Fort Steele Heritage Park allows visitors to experience a taste of local frontier life.
